Data controller

What data we collect

inwise.it is an informational website with no registration or purchase forms. We process only:

• Navigation data: IP address (truncated where applicable), browser and device type, operating system, pages visited, date and time of the visit, referring site. This data is collected automatically by the IT systems and measurement tools.
• Data you send us voluntarily: name, email address and any other information contained in messages you send to info@inwise.it or to inwise@pec.it.
• Cookie preferences: the choice you express in the banner is stored in your browser.

Purposes and legal bases

• Delivering and securing the website — legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest in providing a working, secure site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Replying to requests received by email — legal basis: pre-contractual measures or legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Statistical measurement of site usage via Google Analytics 4 — legal basis: consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• Legal compliance — legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Recipients and transfers outside the EU

Data may be processed by suppliers acting as data processors: the hosting provider serving the website and, subject to your consent, Google Ireland Limited for Google Analytics 4.

Enabling Google Analytics may involve transferring data to the United States. Any such transfer relies on the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR, including standard contractual clauses and the provider's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. If you do not give consent, no data is sent to Google.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep data

• Navigation data and technical logs: for as long as needed to keep the service secure, as a rule no longer than 12 months.
• Statistical data collected through Google Analytics 4: according to the retention period configured on the property, as a rule no longer than 14 months.
• Email correspondence: for as long as needed to handle the request and, where a relationship follows, for the applicable limitation periods.
• Cookie preferences: up to 6 months, unless withdrawn or deleted earlier.

Your rights

At any time you can exercise the rights set out in Articles 15-22 GDPR:

• access to the personal data concerning you;
• rectification of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data;
• erasure of data (right to be forgotten), where applicable;
• restriction of processing;
• objection to processing based on legitimate interest;
• data portability;
• withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise them, simply write to info@inwise.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
